Dr Scott Geddes graduated with distinction from The University of Edinburgh in 1989. He worked as a House Officer and Registrar in Orthodontics at Edinburgh Dental Hospital before relocating to Australia in 1991 to begin private practice at The Dental Centre. He has a continuing interest in dentofacial orthopaedics and orthodontics having completed over 500 hours of continuing professional development in these fields and treated many hundreds of adults and children. |

Dr Gillian Herring graduated in 1981 with honours from the University of Sydney and has been based at The Dental Centre since this time. She offers routine family dental care to new and existing patients and derives great pleasure from looking after the needs of her many longstanding patients. Dr Herring enjoys the challenges of restorative dentistry and is interested in the provision of high quality part and full dentures as well as catering for the particular dental needs of the older generation who have retained their natural teeth. |

Dr Margaret Roberts graduated from the University of Queensland in 1992 with a Bachelor of Dental Science (Honours). She commenced private practice in Inverell before moving to Coffs Harbour in 1996. Dr Roberts has developed a special interest via continuing professional development in endodontics and performs most of the root canal therapy at The Dental Centre. She also enjoys the challenge of treating younger children and provides general anaesthetic sessions at Baringa Private hospital for patients who cannot tolerate treatment under local anaesthetic. |

Dr Kate Amos graduated with first class honours from The University of Queensland and was the recipient of The Pierre Fauchard Award for academic excellence in her graduating cohort. Dr. Amos takes pleasure in the comprehensive management of her patients’ needs, from preventative and restorative care for all ages to detailed cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Amos aims to integrate her understanding of the latest advancements in dental science with a traditional high standard of care and personalised treatment approach. |

Dr. Sam Rose-Hill graduated with first class honours from The University of Queensland and was awarded the IADR Australasian undergraduate research award for his thesis study. After working in hospital settings in the south Brisbane and Townsville districts in 2009, Dr Rose-Hill was eager to return to his home state to apply his knowledge. Dr Rose-Hill performs all aspects of general dental care and has a particular interest in minor oral sugery, including wisdom teeth removal, and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Rose-Hill seeks to offer the highest standards in patient care through a tailored holistic treatment approach. |

Cathy Kelleher graduated from the Shellharbour School of Dental Therapy in 1982 and has built a wealth of experience through positions in both NSW and Queensland. Her role at the Dental Centre is to build confidence and trust in our younger patients so that their early dental experiences are positive. Commencing work in Coffs Harbour with the North Coast Area Health Service in 1988 Cathy has developed a vast knowledge and understanding of the needs of children in this community with respect to their oral health. Cathy’s care for these patients includes examinations, x-rays, fluoride treatments, scales and polishes, fissure sealants, various restorative treatments, extractions and she works closely with paediatric dental specialists from Westmead in more complex cases. |

Philip Ramsden graduated with an Associate Diploma in Dental Therapy from Curtin University in Western Australia. He worked in a large regional practice in Bunbery for 15 years before relocating to Sawtell with his wife, Robyn, in 2006. Phil will be a familiar face to many as he has worked part-time in a number of local surgeries. He is excited to take up a full-time position at The Dental Centre to replace our retiring hygienist, Naomi Nation. We have a strong focus on providing preventative dentistry in our practice and Phil is looking forward to welcoming new and existing patients. |

Cherie Hawkins joined The Dental Centre in 2001 and has held the position of Practice Manager since 2009. She has a wealth of knowledge regarding the administrative requirements of our surgery. Our experienced reception staff can deal with most enquiries efficiently whilst Cherie will assist with more complex treatment planning, GA and sedation sessions, Veterans’ Affairs matters, Workers Compensation and insurance claims as well as offer Health Fund liaison. |
